The El Paso Artisan Gallery inside Lynx Exhibits, 300 W. San Antonio Ave., is introducing three new artists beginning Jan. 15, 2011.

Grace Gibson is a mosaicist and painter who uses art glass, kiln-formed inclusions, found objects, stones, shells and clay pieces to create altars, crosses, planters and other works. Her work has been commissioned by Price’s Creameries, the Sisters of Charity, Radford School and the UTEP Catholic Campus Ministries, among others. Steve Jolly is a landscape photographer who focuses on the beauty of the El Paso desert and the intricacies of Downtown architecture. Tori Scott, owner of Sunlit Creations, produces uniquely embellished solar lights, globes and tiki torches.
El Paso Artisan Gallery features more than a dozen regional artists whose works include paintings, photographs, jewelry and woodwork. The Gallery also is accepting entries until January 15 for a new show expected to open Feb. 18. Artists interested in submitting work for the gallery or the new show should e-mail at least three examples of their work to info@LynxExhibits.com and include an artist’s vitae.
Lynx Exhibits, Downtown across from the convention center parking garage, is dedicated to bringing first-class, family friendly exhibits to the El Paso region at a reasonable price. Open Tuesdays through Sundays.
