EPCC Black History Month

The El Paso Community College’s Black History Month committee has announced this year’s schedule of events. For three nights in February, history and music come to life in celebration of Black History Month.
All events are free, open to the public and begin at 7:00 p.m. in the newly-remodeled Transmountain Campus Forum Theater, 9570 Gateway North.
- Brig, Gen. Stephen Twitty will speak on ”African Americans in the U.S. military” Feb 7, 7 to 9 p.m. at Transmountain Campus Forum Theater, Gateway North and Diana.
- “Choir Night: A Message in Song,” featuring local church and community choirs, is 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.16, at Transmountain Campus Forum Theater, Gateway North and Diana. Admission is free.
- Black History Month Men’s Choirs perform" 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at Transmountain Campus Forum Theater, Gateway North and Diana. Admission is free.
