Fortune 400 Women,

Thank you so much for attending our Holiday Party at Jaxons.

We all had a wonderful time. It was especially rewarding to meet and hear from our scholarship recipients. They had such success stories to share with us. We were all inspired after visiting with them. Lisa has just gotten her degree from UTEP and has a job with Child Protective Services in El Paso and is now working on her masters.

Brenda will graduate in May with a degree in physiology and will go to graduate school in Arizona to finish her masters and PHD then return to El Paso. Ester is a Junior at UTEP and wants to be a school teacher. We hooked her up with one of our Fortune 400 Members that retired from teaching and hopefully she will mentor her. Again thank you!!!

We hope to have quarterly events just for fun. Look for the next one to be around St Patrick's Day. Please be thinking of a friend you can bring who also might benefit from being a Fabulous Fortune 400 member!!!

Sudy Todd and Tina Yamada

Hi all! I wanted to say thank you to Sudy and Tina for putting together a great event last night. Thanks to so many of you who were able to make it. It was just how we had hoped – fun, relaxed and lots of positive energy. We had a group of about 25 – board members, Fortune 400 members and scholarship recipients. Jaxon’s did a terrific job.

Here's what we were able to share with everyone last night – the Women’s Fund has awarded over 25 educational scholarships worth nearly $70,000 and another 20 leadership scholarships for $10,000 to our ten terrific teens. Not including what we’ve awarded in Giving Circles. The impact was easy to see in the smiles and pride of the scholarship recipients. I really look forward to our spring event, and bringing along a friend.

If you clean out your closets over the holiday, remember to save your new and gently used bags for Power of the Purse! Have a wonderful holiday season. We have a lot to look forward to in the New Year.
