In social currency exchange, a group of women trade services with one another as a way to help and to get help in return in equally engaging partnerships. In so doing, they expand their networks and develop social capital--relationships of trust on a wider scale. The specific exchange of time is between the two women; the group is not liable or accountable for dissatisfaction with a particular service.
