AVANCE-El Paso helps young families break the cycle of poverty through early childhood development, parenting classes, and adult literacy. Our families are predominantly Hispanic, educationally and economically disadvantaged, have 2-3 preschool age children and a strong desire to lead full productive lives. AVANCE parents and children who have completed the nine-month program, participate in a graduation ceremony at Chamizal National Memorial Auditorium in May.
