Since 1865, The Salvation Army has been assisting those in need in good times and in bad. The agency first arrived in Phoenix in 1893, and by 1936, The Salvation Army had begun to operate a social service department and shelters for both men and women. The Salvation Army programs served nearly 1-million individuals throughout the Valley of the Sun last year! Let us count our blessings, for the ability to serve is the ultimate gift. |
