Lee and Beulah Moor Children’s Home in El Paso, Texas is the fulfillment of a dream and a legacy. Mr. Lee Moor and his beloved wife, Beulah wanted to improve the lives of others; to give to those with few or no opportunities: to children who deserved a “chance” in life and who otherwise may have had no chance at all. Lee and Beulah Moor wanted to make a difference. Mr. Moor left a living legacy of his belief in helping others by establishing a trust for the proposed children’s home which opened in December of 1959. |

We are Adoption Affiliates and we are also known as Connecting Hearts because that is what we do. Adoption Affiliates is a private, non-profit, child-placing agency licensed in the states of Texas and Oklahoma. We work with birth mothers from all states.
We were founded in 1987 to assist pregnant women who are not ready to parent and who will decide to fulfill their parenting responsibility by making an adoption plan for their baby. We care a great deal about the clients we work with. Through the years we have worked with many wonderful people, birth parents and adoptive parents, and have placed over 600 precious infants.
To fulfill this mission, we provide comprehensive services to birth parents, recruit and prepare adoptive parents for placement, supervise adoptive placements for six-months, and then serve as a liaison and resource for birth parents and adoptive parents in the future.

Every year more than half a million abused and neglected children are in need of safe, permanent, nurturing homes. Too many of these children spend years moving from one temporary home to another without a family to call their own. As adults, they are more likely than other children to face homelessness, unemployment, and even prison.
That's where CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) steps in. National casa was created in 1977 by a judge in seattle to make sure the abuse and neglect these children suffered at home does not continue as abuse and neglect at the hands of the system.
As trained advocates, CASA of El Paso volunteers are appointed by judges to be a voice for abused and neglected children in court. The result is the children are placed into safe, loving homes where they can thrive. |

Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs) in Texas communities provide multidisciplinary teams of professionals to serve that very purpose. These are adults who recognize the hurt of abuse and have dedicated themselves to providing help and protection without causing further suffering. |
